Plan your visit

Before your spray

  • Shower and exfoliate well beforehand.
  • Shave or wax before your session, not after.
  • Skip lotion, makeup, deodorant and fragrance that day.
  • Remove as much jewelry as you can.
  • Long hair? Bring a hair tie or clip.
  • Wear loose, dark clothing. Black is best. Skip leggings and tights.

After your spray

  • Wait 5 to 6 hours, then rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.
  • Don't wait much longer, or your color can over-develop.
  • No scrubs, loofahs or harsh cleansers for the first few days.
  • Moisturize daily to help your color last.
  • Avoid long hot baths and chlorinated pools.
  • Keep wearing sunscreen outdoors.

Pro tip: Add a UV or red light session right before your spray. It helps dry your skin and helps the color adhere. Optional, but a favorite with our regulars.

Spray tan FAQs

How does a spray tan work?

Our private booth mists your skin with a sunless tanning solution. Its active ingredient reacts with the top layer of your skin, and your color develops over the next several hours. There's no UV, so your skin isn't exposed to UV rays.

What solution do you use?

We currently feature a clear solution. It goes on without a bronzer tint, so you won't walk out looking dark or streaky, and there's less to rub off on your clothes. Your color develops gradually over a few hours after your session.

Do I need an appointment?

No. We're walk-in only, so stop by anytime during open hours. The spray itself takes just a few minutes, but plan on about 20 minutes from check-in to finish so you're never rushed.

How should I prepare for my session?
  • Shower and exfoliate well beforehand.
  • Shave or wax before your session, not after.
  • Skip lotion, moisturizer, makeup, deodorant and fragrance on the day of your session. They can block the solution and cause uneven color.
  • Take off as much jewelry as you can.
  • Long hair? Bring a hair tie or clip.
  • Give yourself enough time so you're not rushed. Good results take a few extra minutes.
What should I wear afterward?

Loose, comfortable clothing in dark colors. Black is best. The solution can stain light fabrics before your first rinse. Skip leggings, tights and anything snug, because rubbing against your skin can cause uneven color.

What do you provide?

Barrier cream for your palms, the soles of your feet and your nails, so they don't pick up unwanted color. We also provide dark towels and a pose guide in the room. If it's your first visit, our team will walk you through the booth.

Can I tan in a bed or use red light first?

Yes. A UV or red light session right before your spray helps dry your skin and helps the color adhere. It's optional, and many guests enjoy doing both in one visit.

How long until I can shower?

Wait about 5 to 6 hours before your first rinse. Keep it lukewarm and gentle, and pat dry. Skip scrubs, loofahs and harsh cleansers for the first few days, since they can strip your color.

Why shouldn't I wait too long to rinse?

Leaving the solution on much longer than recommended can let it over-develop. The result is a darker, less natural-looking tone.

How long will my tan last?

Usually about a week. It depends on your skin and how you care for it.

How do I make it last longer?
  • Moisturize daily after your first rinse.
  • Avoid exfoliating, long hot baths and chlorinated pools.
  • Shave before your session, not after. Shaving removes the top layer of skin, and your color with it.
Will it look orange?

A good spray tan should look like a natural tan. Most problems come from skipping the prep steps, or from lotion or deodorant left on the skin.

Will it stain my clothes or sheets?

It can, before your first rinse. Wear dark, loose clothing, and consider dark sheets if you sleep before rinsing.

Does a spray tan protect me from the sun?

No. A spray tan provides no UV protection, so keep using sunscreen outdoors.

Is spray tanning safe?

Yes, for most people. Keep your eyes and mouth closed and hold your breath during each spray pass. If you're pregnant or have skin sensitivities or allergies, check with your doctor before your first session.

Who can get a spray tan?

Anyone looking for a sunless glow. It's a great option if you burn easily, or if you want color fast for an event or vacation.

How much is it?

$29 per session. If you're a VIP tanning member, every spray tan is just $20. Prices plus applicable tax.
